Amazing makeup tips you should know!

1,Never put concealer or foundation on your eyelids as a base, it will cause your eye makeup to crease.

2,Use your fingers to apply your foundation if you want sheer coverage and a brush if you more polished, medium to full coverage.

3,Always apply powder where you are shiniest first, which it usually your T-zone, with a very light dusting everywhere else.

4, You should put bronzer on your neck, face, and chest to even out your skin tone. Be sure to take a step back and make sure everything is the same color.

5, When applying blush, first smile, then start on the apple of the cheek, blend the blush back towards the top of the ear, then down toward the jawline.

6, Always apply your brow pencil or powder to the upper portion of the eyebrow to lift your face up.

7, You want to make sure your lipstick is not too defined at your cupid's bow (the top of your lip), and that it goes all the way out to the inner corners of your mouth. Be sure to press down hard as you apply.

8, Always start with a base shadow without any shimmer that matches the lightest skin tone on your face and apply all over your lid up to the brow. You should use this base shadow to make sure the darker shadows used on your lid up to the crease are properly blended.

9, Instead of looking straight ahead at the mirror, get as close to it as possible, stick your head up and bring your chin toward the mirror. You want to look down as you apply, starting at the inner corner and making sure to go all the way out to the fold on the outside of the eye.

10, You don't want to do quick soft motions when you apply mascara. Instead, jam the wand into the root of the lash and do zigzag motions as you go up.

Irritated skin from shaving?

How to look after your skin!

We have all shave/ed, it makes our skin nice and smooth however after a few times you might realize your skin is irritated or even a rash! 

I get a rash every time, it's very uncomfortable and itchy!

I'm sure we all know what it feels like!

why does this happen?

using a dull blade, using a hard soap, shaving dry, unconditioned skin and just having sensitive skin.

How to take care of it?;

A cold compress is a very effective and easy way to get instant relief from the burning sensation caused by razor burns. It soothes the area and can reduce inflammation. Plus, it will help reduce redness and itching, as well as prevent razor bumps from forming.

Wrap a few ice cubes in a thin towel. Simply place the towel on the affected area for a few minutes.

Alternatively, you can soak a cloth in cold water and place it on the affected area for a few minutes.

Repeat either of these treatments several times a day as needed.

To prevent razor burn, try splashing with cold water on your skin immediately after shaving.

Aspirin is another easy and simple way to get rid of razor burn very quickly. The anti-inflammatory property of aspirin helps reduce redness and inflammation.

1. Put two aspirins in one teaspoon of warm water.
2. Let it sit for some time, until it turns into a paste.
3. Rub the paste on the affected skin.
4. Leave it on for 10 minutes, and then wash it off with lukewarm water.
5. Use this simple treatment twice a day to get rid of the discomfort. It will also help you get rid of razor bumps.

Note: Those with highly sensitive skin should not use this remedy.

Aloe vera is another great choice for soothing razor burn. The soothing as well as cooling nature of aloe vera will give you instant relief from the burning sensation and inflammation. Also, aloe vera will keep the skin moisturized, which speeds up the healing process.

1. Extract fresh aloe vera gel from an aloe vera leaf.
2. Rub the gel on the affected skin.
3. Allow it to dry on its own, and then rinse it off with cold water.
4. Follow this treatment two or three times daily for two to three days.

For men, men shave their face a lot however there's a few great and easy ways to help their sensitive skin!

Look for shaving creams that have a high concentration of lubricants and moisturizers. The best shaving creams create a rich creamy lather and do not foam up like the cheaper drug store brands. The less "foaming" in the shave cream the better, as it is what is in contact with the skin and beard that matters - all else is wasted. You want as much lubrication as possible between your skin and the razor. And, it has to have great "slip" so that the razor will glide smoothly and effortlessly across your skin. The best shave creams also lock the moisture into the whiskers, keeping them soft and upright, primed for the cut. Less resistance, less irritation, less scraping and fewer nicks. The ideal scenario is to leave the shaving cream on your face for at least a minute before you begin cutting, so that the beard is as soft and wet as possible.

Bath Bombs!!

Eyebrows!

A lot of people ask me where I get my eyebrows done, the truth is I do them myself!
I will not let anyone near my eyebrows after a few mistakes!
I rather do them myself, I found an easy and cheap way to make my eyebrows perfect!

You can find plenty of youtube videos to help you, but after watching them I still did not understand what to do or what I actually need!

There's easier ways than trying to get someones look, get your own!

all you need is a brow pencil to do this.

I love filling in my eyebrows! I hope you do too!

Paris!

I absolutely Paris, I've been crazy about it for years!

This year on valentines day I was lucky enough to go there for a weekend with the love of my life!

It was possible the best present I'v ever got! 

We toured around the beautiful city and saw the more beautiful sights!

I could not be happier! It was amazing!

Tour Saint Jacques: a bell tower without a church

Tour Saint Jacques is the former bellower of the church of Saint-Jacques-de-la-Boucherie. Built in the 16th century but of Gothic style, it was one of the starting points for pilgrims journeying up rue Saint Jacques and on to Santiago de Comspotela in Spain. When the church was dismantled in 1802, it was decided to keep the belfry which has since been converted to a weather station.

The square Tour de l’Horloge (Tower clock) of the Conciergerie has since 1370 housed the first public clock to be installed in Paris.

The Eiffel Tower weighs about 7,000t and uses 50t of paint every seven years. The Eiffel tower swayed 13 cm during a storm in 1999, which blew at 240 kph.

As for the variation of ambient temperature, the top of the tower may shift away from the sun by as much as 18 cm which was recorded during the 1976 heatwave. (Gustave Eiffel had allowed for a variation as much as 70 cm).

And the most magical and special moment was when Eiffel Tower lit up at night and started sparkling! It was absolutely perfect and I'd go back there anyway!
