Sunbeds!

Sunbeds!

What is your opinion on sunbeds?

Us girls love a nice tan, however not everyone likes a orange smelly tan, not everyone can afford a holiday so what about sunbeds? cheap enough, close enough, you don't smell or go orange.
I use sunbeds it's my way of relaxing and getting a nice tan!

Benefits:
Sunbeds offer a controlled way to tan and can provide appropriate levels of UV to ensure sufficient levels of Vitamin D are achieved and maintained.
Tanning in sunlight means the body can be subjected to different levels of UV rays, depending on the time of day, location in the world, month of the year and so on. With a sunbed, a tanning programme can be developed to ensure skin type and the type of sunbed being used, are taken into consideration to ensure that over exposure, including the possibility of burning, is avoided.

Risks: Sunbeds give out harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays that damage your skin and can make it look wrinkled, older or leathery. The UV rays from sunbeds can also damage the DNA in your skin cells, and over time this damage can build up to cause skin cancer.
Sunbeds can sometimes be marketed as a ‘controlled way’ of getting a ‘safer tan’. But actually, sunbeds are no safer than exposure to the sun itself, and the amount of UV people receive varies enormously too.
Tell me what you think about sunbeds and which ones you use? lay down ones or stand up ones?
